We are currently looking for an Designer Clay Modeller (m/w/d) for our client in the Cologne area.

Your Tasks:

• Create and execute physical clay models (interior and/or exterior)

• Coordinate activities around the clay model development

• Translate engineering parameters into design language

• Maintain artistic intent within production constraints

• Deliver high-quality surfaces while preserving design emotion

• Develop complex surfaces/shapes for picture models

• Refine surfaces to clinic model level, including highlight optimization

• Continuous communication with the design team

• Perform and evaluate model measurements

• Operate measuring machines for model data capture and integration

• Evaluate data, determine deviations from feasibility, provide feedback

• Maintain clean and organized workspace (plate/tool/toolbox maintenance)

• Skills Required:

  • 3–5 years of experience as a Clay Modeller (automotive or related field)

  Education Required:

  • Qualification in clay modelling, industrial design, sculpture, or similar

  • Specialized certifications in automotive clay modelling
