As a System Integration and Testing Engineer, you will play a key role in the integration and testing of future connected car solutions. Your responsibilities will span in-vehicle communication, data processing, connectivity, and the transfer of data to cloud environments.
Your Responsibilities:
- Analyze requirements documents and user stories; create and maintain test case catalogs for integration and system testing in an agile project environment
- Commission, configure, and maintain test environments, both on test benches and in vehicles
- Conduct structured and exploratory system integration tests at test benches, through simulations, and during vehicle testing; document, report, and track results
- Develop and automate test cases (optional)
- Analyze errors and create and manage entries in error databases
- Prepare for and participate in test and integration workshops, as well as status and acceptance drives both domestically and internationally
- Collaborate closely with project and cooperation partners
Job requirements
- Degree in information technology, electrical engineering, or equivalent professional experience
- Knowledge of standard software testing methods (both classic and agile), particularly at the system integration level
- Basic experience with programming and/or scripting languages
- Strong communication skills, independent working style, and attention to detail with a process-oriented mindset
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel (approx. 10%)
- Proficiency in both German and English, written and spoken
- High level of reliability and a solution-oriented approach
- Motivation and commitment to achieving project goals with your team
Additional Qualifications (preferred):
