Junior IT Systems Technician (m/f/d)

Currently, we are searching for our client in Köln, for an

 Junior IT Systems Technician (m/f/d)

• Maintenance of IT infrastructure in data centers (racks, networks, servers, and storage systems) in close collaboration with relevant departments
• Cabling of active and passive infrastructure components, including fiber optic and copper cables (e.g., via OTDR measurement)
• Setting up, maintaining, and troubleshooting infrastructure
• Documenting all technical infrastructure using a CAD-supported documentation program (including lifecycle management)
• Coordinating and supporting external service providers and technicians within the data center environment
• Electrical planning, evaluation, and execution of installations
• Managing and following up on tasks in ticket systems

• Completed vocational training in an IT-related field (e.g., IT Systems Technician, Electrical Technician, Network Technician, or similar qualification)
• Experience in maintaining data center infrastructures or as a service technician is a plus
• Proficiency in handling IT hardware and data center infrastructure
• Independent and workflow-based approach, with experience using ticketing systems
• Team player with reliability, conscientiousness, and a solution-oriented mindset
• Fluent in German (spoken and written); basic English skills are an advantage
• Primary work location: Cologne-Porz, with tasks at additional locations in Cologne (100% on-site work)
