Currently, we are searching for our client in the Wedel area (near Hamburg) for a 

Process Engineer for Continuous Improvement (m/f/d)

  • Continuous improvement of processes in the Operations department
  • Analyze processes in production and after-sales, creating value stream analyses and identifying optimization potential
  • Plan and implement process improvements in close collaboration with all relevant departments
  • Introduce new manufacturing and repair processes, including process verification and industrialization for new products
  • Apply lean principles and PDCA methodology, including setting relevant KPIs
  • Lead projects within the Operations department
  • Collaborate across departments, including development, procurement, production planning, and quality management
  • Support investment planning and provide consulting for competence centers in cooperation with their leaders
  • Design workstations and production lines, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and other guidelines

Job requirements

  • Completed technical Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
  • Several years of experience as a Process Engineer/Manufacturing Engineer in a production environment
  • Strong understanding of process optimization and continuous improvement approaches
  • Extensive knowledge in process analysis and optimization using lean criteria
  • Understanding of the business aspects of process optimization (e.g., ROI calculations)
  • Aerospace knowledge is a plus
  • Team-oriented with strong leadership and conflict resolution skills
  • Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with various departments and levels of hierarchy
  • Fluent German skills, both written and spoken
