Currently, we are searching for our client in the Aachen area, for a
Procurement Specialist (m/f/d)

• Create, manage, and coordinate procurement orders using the ERP system
• Control and optimize costs and capital investment for purchasing, inventory, and internal distribution of goods and services, actively contributing to the company’s performance, profitability, and competitiveness (e.g., through bulk contracts, tiered pricing)
• Conduct market research and monitor procurement markets for assigned product categories
• Perform supplier management to continuously improve the supply chain
• Oversee contract management and ensure compliance with terms and conditions to achieve the best outcomes for the company
• Ensure quality assurance, including supplier evaluations, assessments, and complaint management
• Facilitate smooth information flow and effective collaboration with other departments

• Completed commercial training or education
• Several years of experience as a buyer, ideally in mechanics or electrical engineering
• Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP knowledge preferred)
• Proficiency in Windows and MS Office applications
• Strong German and business-level English skills
