Technical Writer / Technical Documentation Specialist (m/f/d)

Currently, we are searching for our client in Altenstadt (Bavaria) for a 

Technical Writer / Technical Documentation Specialist (m/f/d)

• Create, manage, and maintain compliant technical documentation for the operation, inspection, maintenance, and repair of mechatronic systems, as well as spare parts documentation
  
• Develop and maintain complex manuals for civil and/or military applications (aviation, land, or rail vehicles) according to the S1000D standard
• Plan, coordinate, and monitor outsourced work packages related to technical documentation
• Create and maintain spare parts lists and catalogs following the S2000M standard
• Develop user-friendly presentations of complex technical content
• Independently gather the necessary information for documentation creation
• Edit and format technical texts, documents, and graphics (e.g., from CAD systems)

• Successfully completed degree in Technical Writing or a comparable qualification
• Completed technical vocational training and further education as a master craftsman or technician is a plus
• Several years of professional experience in technical documentation
• Structured and self-organized work style
• Experience with various documentation systems, e.g., FrameMaker, Creo, S1000D/S2000M software
• Excellent German and English skills, both spoken and written
• Willingness to travel occasionally
