Currently, we are searching for our client in the Munich area, for a

Senior Software Developer (m/f/d) for Fire Detection Systems

• Designing and coding software for embedded edge devices used in complex fire detection systems. This includes signal processing and algorithms for detecting fire-related characteristics, as well as communication protocols for data exchange with the fire alarm control panel

• Developing solutions from specification through design and implementation to testing (integration and unit tests), in close collaboration with software architects and other project stakeholders

• Ensuring the functionality of products using model-based methods, simulations, and hardware-related tests (test-driven development, on-chip debugging, Google Test, Python 3, etc.)

• Completed degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering or a comparable field

• Extensive experience in embedded software development and modern embedded C++ programming (5–10 years)

• Experience in programming ARM processors (Cortex-M4), ideally with STM32L4xxx

• Familiarity with common software development tools (Enterprise Architect, Jenkins, Git, Azure DevOps, etc.)

• Strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of system-wide interrelationships, paired with a high standard of quality

• Fluent English and German skills are mandatory
